GMG Music Center was founded in 2003.  GMG Music Center has had national attention from Microsoft, Sprint and MSN. In 2008 GMG Music Center relocated to a 5,000 sq foot facility in Northeast Columbia and has grown to offer not only music, but also leadership programs in addition to other various other art forms.

GMG Music Center has adopted the best practices of music teaching studios, universities and both private and public schools to create its core curriculum, the GMG Music System. This allows students the opportunity to learn through sight-reading, ear training, music theory, music history, technique, transcription, arranging, composition, improvisation, production and performance through the use of technology and quality instruction.

We believe in providing a collegiate atmosphere for maximum musical growth with a modern contemporary approach.

GMG Music Center is a company focused on more than just teaching music. 

From GMG Music Center’s inception in 2003 the arts have played a vital role in not only the overall direction of the company, but also in raising awareness of the importance of music education and forming partnerships with other youth serving organizations and businesses to make programs readily available in the community. Although GMG Music Center offers music education services, the company ties-in various arts forms, awareness and the implementation of community art projects through strong community collaborations.
